Our resident MC Martin Semple will guide you through the bill of Mirth. As a comedian Martin draws comic relief from some of the most high intensity situations of the frecent Gulf conflict. His ability to turn terrifying situations into hilarious material for his work as a comedian mark Martin as a genuinely unique and talented member of the stand-up comedy circuit.

Food is cooked by BBC MasterChef finalist Tom Rennolds. (Expect homemade fries, burgers, burritos, that kind of thing - They are incredible!)

Opening: Steve Hall. Steve is a stand-up comedian and writer, who returned to the Edinburgh Festival in 2015 with his sell-out third show Zebra – “for sheer unadulterated fun this Fringe, it’s hard to think of too many comedians who will offer the same glee” (The List). In 2014 he supported Russell Howard on his sell-out national tour Wonderbox, having previously supported Russell on his tours AdventuresDingledodies and Big Rooms And Belly Laughs.

Steve has written on the last 5 series of Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC 2) as well as numerous other programmes, such as Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central), A League of Their Own (Sky) and The Now Show (BBC Radio 4), among others. He is a regular guest on The Frank Skinner Show on Absolute Radio and has appeared as a panellist on The Rest is History for BBC Radio 4.

Closing: Duncan Oakley. With musical skills that would easily fit into many rock bands Duncan Oakley performs an infectious mix of musical comedy and stand up with one of his trusty guitars - Maurice (Fender Strat), No.7 (acoustic) or his Les Paul (the Lezza) by his side. With an eye and ear for the silly, rude, playful and downright irritating occurrences of life Duncan musters up songs that not only make you laugh, they bury into the recesses of your mind and find you a humming tune with a smile on your face 3 days later, confused and wondering where it’s come from.

Duncan has performed for nearly 10 years on the stand up circuit and performs regularly at some of the UK’s bigger weekend clubs as well as festivals, & Uni gigs. A talented all-round musician Duncan can also perform with harmonica, drums & piano as a one man musical whirlwind.

In the middle we have Phil Chapman.

Phil's playful brand of comedy is engaging and charming in equal measure.

With a set that blends anecdotes and observations with a healthy dose of banter, his happy-go-lucky style and mischievous on-stage persona, delights audiences at clubs far and wide.

Tickets are priced from £15, and are sure to sell quick.
